NSPCC Listen Up, Speak Up

The NSPCC has recently launched its Listen Up, Speak Up campaign – aimed at empowering everyone to know what to do if they are ever worried about a child or family.  It’s up to all of us to help keep children safe, so Listen Up, Speak Up is for people who may encounter them regularly - either through their work or personal lives.

Bfriend are delighted to have been offered a face to face session and would love for you to come along with a friend or family member to find out more about what we can all do to help keep children and young people safe.

Listen up, Speak up will show you:

  • some signs a child might be at risk, and steps you can take to help

  • how to approach difficult conversations to help keep children safe

  • who you can contact if you’re ever concerned about a child or their family.

Our event will take place in Corespace Business Centre in Ayr on Thursday 29th August at 6pm.

Please let us know if you would like to attend and we will make sure we have enough cake and coffee for everyone! Email info@bfriend.org.uk
